HOPE! Drama Troupe

Help Begins With HOPE!

We talk about today's problems, so young people will too.

Seemingly endless problems and challenges bombard today's youth. Stress. Drugs. Violence. Peer pressure. Sex. And the list goes on... That's why the Child Abuse Prevention Council developed HOPE!(Healing Our Personal Experiences) - a drama troupe of about 20 youth volunteers dedicated to:

HOPE! puts young people on the road to healing.

Under the guidance of professional directors, the HOPE! Drama Troupe perfoms a 30-minute play dealing with differnt kinds of child abuse. The message is that it is never the victim's fault and "tell and get help". The performance is followed with a brief question and answer period. The troupe performs one day a month from November through May at area middle and high schools. For more information about HOPE! or to book a performance for your school or church group call the Child Abuse Prevention Council at (515) 725-2682.
